Compliance and Calibration

This weighing chair is an approved scale (Class III) in accordance with decree no. 91-330 of March 27, 1991, suitable for monitoring, diagnosis and medical treatment in France.

For use outside mainland France, prior calibration to the gravity (linked to latitude, longitude and altitude) of the destination location is required to ensure regulatory compliance. This calibration, carried out free of charge by SECA during manufacturing, must be requested when ordering, specifying the destination city. Without this correction, calibration by a local organization (Balancier, DIRECCTE) will be necessary, at the user's expense. SECA and Hexamed decline all responsibility in the event of non-compliance due to the absence of a calibration request.
