Visit Bowie & Dick test for Euronda autoclave guarantees a sterilization effective, essential for the safety of patients and practitioners. Compliant with the standard EN 13060, it checks the evacuation of air and the penetration of steam in porous loads such as bandanas or blouses.

Instructions for use
- Perform a Vacuum test to check the vacuum.
- Place the Bowie & Dick test in the center of the lower plateau, without other instruments.
- Start a sterilization cycle at 134°C, 2.1 atm, for 3'30".
- Check the uniform color change of the heat-sensitive sheet.
- Compare the results with the interpretative support provided.
Interpretation and recommendations
- Uniform color change: sterilization successful.
- Non-uniform change: fail, repeat test.
- In case of repeated failure, put theautoclave out of service for investigation.
- Perform the test after repairs, prolonged inactivity, or before sterilization of porous loads.
