L'eye magnet with handle is an emergency medical instrument designed to remove superficial foreign bodies in the eyes, such as the iron filings or the metal particles.
Composition
L'eye magnet with handle consists of three parts: a central tube 7.7 cm, a magnetic tip 2 cm pointed with a 2.5 cm screw thread, and a tip with nylon handle 1 cm with a 3.5 cm screw pitch.
Uses
For optimal extraction, identify the nature of the foreign body. Use themagnetic tip for metallic materials andnylon handle for non-metallic materials.

Precautions for use

Cleaning tips
- Clean instruments thoroughly before first use.
- Quickly soak instruments soiled with organic matter in a decontamination solution.

- Allow the eye magnet with handle to cool before removing it from the sterilizer to avoid condensation.
- Use pH neutral (7-8) cleaning, decontamination and lubrication products with pH neutral water.
- Respect the recommended dosages and durations for the products used.
