Mandatory calibration

For use outside mainland France, the scale must be calibrated to the gravity (latitude, longitude, altitude) of the destination before shipping, in accordance with regulations. This calibration, carried out free of charge by KERN upon request when ordering, requires specifying the city of use. Without this prior calibration, local compliance by a notified body (Balance, DIRECCTE) will be required, at the user's expense. KERN and Hexamed cannot be held responsible in the event of non-compliance due to the absence of requested calibration.
