Tips for accurate weighing
Weight can fluctuate by about 1 kg in children and 2 kg in adults throughout the day. For accurate measurements, follow these guidelines:
- Place the scale on a stable floor and do not move it.
- Ideally, weigh yourself in the morning, when you get up.
- Do not consume any food or drink before weighing.
- Step onto the scale without clothing, in a stable position, and remain still during the measurement.
If you weigh yourself with clothes on and absolute accuracy is not required, approximately deduct:
- Jeans: ~700 g
- T-shirt: ~250 g
- Shirt/blouse: ~250 g
